Polythéa

Polythea or « How light can save lives » is a Marie Curie Innovative Training Network. Based on a network gathering 7 universities, 4 industrial partners and 1 research institute, the project has aimed at developing new active compounds that can efficiently fight microbial infections and cancer. These two major challenges, for food security and human health, were tackled through synthetis and testing of innovative bio-inspired drug carriers. Within a multidisciplinary and inter-sectorail training program, 10 PhD students have developed their research projects, their skills and their carrer projects. This comics illustrates and tells their story and provides a quick view of what can be a European research project… a European adventure.

One Health

This illustration was achieved for ERENA (A room for ethical discussion within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region). It illustrates the One-Health concept, which highlights the fact that we should consider human health, animal health as well as  the health of our planet. The three healths cannot be considered independently of each other and we must focus on them in a coherent way.
